And Adapted to the New Practice in the States of Missouri, California, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Alabama; The Territories of Oregon and Minnesota, and the Island of Newfoundland, with Copious Notes and Authorities to Which are Added Forms in Submissions of Controversy Without Action; In Proceedings Against Joint Debtors, Etc.; And of Judgments by Confession. 541 pages with index. Full leather covers with red and black title bars and gilt lettering on spine. Cover corners are bumped and rubbed, edges rubbed, plenty of rubbing and scuffing to cover faces, some areas with tears to leather, black marks. Top spine end is torn and pulling away from book, bottom end is scuffed. Front hinge completely broken and is pulling away from rest of book exposing spine. Endpapers are separated from rest of book. Interior pages are browning and foxing, some pages with mold marks. Some evidence of bug damage to lower corners of interior pages and on back inside cover. Book in Good- condition.

Owner and editor of the Louisville Courier Journal. Watterson was a powerful influence among conservatives within the Democratic Party. Watterson won the Pulitzer Prize in 1918 for his editorials supporting US entry into World War I.
