Full leather covers with red and black title bars and gilt lettering on spine. Cover corners are bumped and rubbed, edges rubbed, plenty of rubbing and scuffing to cover faces, some areas with tears to leather, black marks. Top spine end is torn and pulling away from book, bottom end is scuffed. Front hinge completely broken and is pulling away from rest of book exposing spine. Endpapers are separated from rest of book. Interior pages are browning and foxing, some pages with mold marks. Some evidence of bug damage to lower corners of interior pages and on back inside cover. Book in Good- condition.

Tongue protected with tissue guard. 96 pp. Disbound. Document is Very Good. Interior is tight, clean and VG+. Thomas H. Tongue (1844 - 1903) was an Oregon Congressman who served from 1897-1903. Additionally, he served in the Oregon State Senate from 1888 to 1892 and was the seventh mayor of Hillsboro, Oregon. The Englishman immigrated to the United States in 1859.
