Together with numerous explanatory notes, and three dissertations, concerning Jesus Christ, John the Baptist, James the Just, God's Command to Abraham, Etc. No publishing date, probably late 19th century/early 20th century. 978 pp. with index. Green decorative boards with gilt lettering and image of bookshelf on front cover, and gilt lettering on spine. Covers show signs of wear with corners bumped and boards exposed, edges rubbed, and top/bottom of spine is worn and torn. Both front and back hinges are broken. Page edges are foxed. Previous owner's stamp on front inside cover and front freepaper. Some browning/foxing to interior, but does not interfere with text. Overall, book is in Poor to Good condition.
