Last 2 pages with "inducements to new subscribers with etchings of free "specimens" in exchange for a subscription to THE NATURALIST. They include "a fine Barnacle from the Atlantic, a Shark's Egg and an Egg of the Skate, or Two fine specimens of Resurection Plant, from Mexico, or a Mother of Pearl Shell, etc. A choice of 65 different items. On front page in article on ELEPHANT PIPES, appears to be a correction to text. a semi-colon is added, a "not" is crossed out, and the word "genuineness" is underlined.
