"The biographies of Holy Scripture, written under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, constitute one of the most interesting and important parts of the book of books." 285 pp. Brown cloth covers with faded gilt lettering on spine. Cover corners are bumped and rubbed to boards, edges rubbed with areas of boards exposed, light scuffing to cover faces, joints rubbed. Spine ends are torn and missing, exposing areas of the binding. Ex. library with identification numbers and sticker on bottom spine, library bookplate on front inside cover, identification numbers and library stamps on title page, library stamps on a few interior pages, due date list and security sticker on back free endpaper, bar code and pocket envelope on back inside cover. "Doan's 1910 Directory also contains, in handy and concise form, complete information regarding diseases of the kidneys, a subject so little understood that thousands of fatal cases occur every year that could be prevented by prompt treatment." 32 pp. Decorative paper wraps with image of Uncle Sam on front cover and on back cover, a letter from a doctor assuring Doan's Kidney Pills are safe for treatment. Cover corners are creased and front bottom corner is missing. Small tears to spine edge. Tear to edge of pages 1-3. Red pencil marks on top of page 1. Document in Good+ condition.

These books have been augmented by three special pictorial sections -- one on the inaugural ceremonies (including the memorable inaugural address); another on the death and state funeral of President Kennedy; and a third on the first 30 days in office of President Lyndon B. Johnson." This is Copy No. 351D of the Memorial Edition of the John F. Kennedy Inaugural Book, signed by E. H. Foley, General Chairman of the Inaugural Committee. Blue boards with embossed title and Presidential Seal on front cover, along with previous owner's name (Mr. Joseph E. Regan) embossed on lower front cover. Cover corners are bumped and rubbing to face. Main section of interior pages is pulling away from the spine, but still attached. Interior pages are browning with some minor stains, but text and images are not affected. Overall book in Good condition.
